Per Hesselberg, the former program manager of the Royal Danish Navy’s three Iver Huitfeldt-class frigates who is now the commander of Naval Base Korsoer, discusses the design philosophy behind the novel warships with Defense & Aerospace Report Editor Vago Muradian. The interview took place in the engine room of HDMS Peter Willemoes — one of three Iver Huitfeldt frigates — during the ship’s recent visit to Baltimore.
