Robert DiCarlo, systems engineer at the US Army Combat Capabilities Development Command’s C5ISR Center at Aberdeen Proving Ground, Md., discusses the Radio Interoperability Capability-Universal — or RIC-U — Voice Bridge, a single device that can automatically interconnect US and allied radios with Defense & Aerospace Report Editor Vago Muradian. The system, developed by the US Army, was derived from the Radio Interoperability Capability-Korean to better connect US and South Korean forces.
