Doug Birkey, the executive director of the Mitchell Institute for Aerospace Studies, gives us an exclusive tour of his extensive, museum-quality collection of military aviation artifacts, including a Martin-Baker Mk H7 ejection seat from an F-4 Phantom II fighter, an engine cowl panel from a B-17 Flying Fortress bomber, aircraft instruments, engine controls and rare, autographed books and documents.
